About Kimbra Westervelt
Kimbra Westervelt is a multi-talented and classically trained singer who consistently performs in the Southern California area. Having traveled the globe, she has toured with the USO in Africa, the Middle East, and Asia. Educated in the U.S. and abroad, Kimbra studied opera, pop and jazz combining her training with elements of soul and r&B for a unique sound. Her performances in Italy earned her the Soggiorno eTurismo Milazzo Award. Her acting credits span both stage and screen, including roles in traditional as well as ground-breaking new productions. Kimbra is privileged to have her vocals featured in such commercial hits as “Night At The Roxbury” and the art house film such as “This Film Is Not Yet Rated,” which won the BFCA for Best documentary in the U.K. Kimbra’s entrepreneurial spirit led to forming The Los Angeles production company, Local Girl Films.
